Copying Files Between Your Citrix Desktop and Your Computer

It is easy to move files between the Citrix environment (like the S: drive) and your computer.  Here's how.

To copy files from the Citrix server to your computer

1. When you are in the Citrix desktop, open the folder that contains the file or files you would like to copy.

2. Highlight and select the file(s) you'd like to copy.

3.  Right click on the selected file(s) and select Copy.

4. Go back to the Citrix desktop and open My Computer.

5. You will see a list of several drives.  Find one labeled C$ on 'Client' (V:) and open it. The V: drive in Citrix is the C: drive on your local computer.

6. Open any folder on the V: drive where you would like to save your file(s) (e.g. V:\Documents and Settings\Dave\My Documents)

7. Right click in that folder and select Paste.  Your file(s) will be copied there.
